Saturday 6th November, on the lawn area on (river side) of the Club.

All Members will have the same job at the busy bee, to simply bring their life jackets (and any old flares and expired EPIRBS they want to dispose of) to the grass area on the river side in front of the Club for an 8AM start.

The Department of Transport (DOT) has generously offered to come down and inspect and service lifejackets, for free. The service will include checking and replacing, if necessary, free of charge, gas canisters in inflatable life jackets.

DOT Officers will also conduct a flare demonstration and collect any old flares or expired EPIRBS our Members want to dispose of.

All this followed by the usual busy bee free sausage sizzle.

DOT Officers from the Education team will inspect and services life jackets from 0800 to 0930 (or thereabouts) while collecting EPIRBS and old flares.

Flare demonstration from about 9:30AM.

Sausage sizzle ready from about 10AM.

This is a point event!
